Country Partners is a traditional personal dating agency for country people living throughout Kent and across the UK.
We first began in rural Shropshire, with two mums who got to meet each other at the school gate. They recognised that it just wasn’t easy for people living in rural areas to find a new partner, and from that first conversation, came the concept of Country Partners, a traditional personal dating service with the focus of serving the rural community. The founder of Country Partners was Heather Heber Percy, who became a very well-known figure in dating.
She still maintains an interest in Country Partners today, and we have continued with the dating service that she began, based on the values she set out, of good personal service, along with honesty and transparency in dating.
Although many dating websites and dating apps have sprung up over the years, they do not offer the truly personal and caring service that we provide for rural people, nor the safety checks that we have in place. We still offer the traditional support of a personal matchmaker, someone who understands dating and there for you to talk to throughout your dating journey.
What We Do
We will want to get to know all about you and the sort of person that you are hoping to meet. This process starts by our talking to you when you first make an enquiry and will be followed up in more depth if you decide to proceed, via a one to one interview, usually arranged over a video call or face to face. We run background checks on all our members to be sure that all those you might meet through our service, really are who they say they are.
Everyone who has a membership with us is firstly ID checked and interviewed, giving our members the security and peace of mind that you may well have found to be lacking with online dating and dating app platforms.
The Matchmaking Process
When you contact us, you are put you in touch with one of our experienced and friendly Membership Advisers. They will speak with you in confidence and can advise on all aspects of how our dating service might work for you. They are ready to help answer any questions you may have and will not put you under any pressure. There’s no obligation to join and its free to call us, so do feel welcome to speak with us. We can also send you more information to look through, which will have more detail about how we work.
If you would like to become a member, we will organise your profiling interview at a time to suit you. After your consultation, we will send your draft profile for you to approve. Your matchmaker will then be in touch to get matchmaking underway for you. She will be starting the exciting work of selecting the first prospective match to recommend to you.
We look for prospective matches for you by referring to what you’ve told us at the interview as well as referring to what our other members tell us what it is that they consider important in a partner. Shared aspirations, backgrounds, interests and hobbies are just some of the things that we take into consideration. Our Matchmakers are all experienced and understanding. Do be guided by their recommendations; working with them gives you the best chance of our service helping you to find the love that you seek.
