Dating in Scotland – The Scottish Borders
The Scottish Borders are an area located in southern Scotland bordering, Edinburgh, West Lothian, Midlothian and Midlothian to the north, the North Sea to the east, Dumfries and Galloway to the southwest and South Lanarkshire to the west.
It is one of the 12 regions of Scotland and also 1 of the 32 council areas. The largest town is Galashiels, with Newtown St Boswell as the administrative centre. The population of the Borders is just 116,00 and is ranked 18th in terms of density.
So, if you’re single it is much harder than on average to find prospective partners that most of the rest of the UK, as a consequence Country Partners, Scotlands very own dating agency and only truly national agency, endeavours to fill in the gaps and provide quality partners in this remote location.
What We Do
Country Partners was founded initially just to service Scotland and the north of England. Due to our success, we quickly spread our wings to service other rural areas across the UK, but Scotland remains very important to us, hence our regional office, located in Bath Street, Glasgow, is strategically located to service our Scottish clients.
If your experience in dating to date is just with an online service or via your smartphone and you don’t know how personal matchmaking works, we provide a free, no obligation consultancy service initially and our membership advisers Jenny, Zoe and Tracey are on hand at your convenience to talk through our service and how it works.
We are available from 9am until 9pm most days and our phones are always answered in the UK by a friendly British voice, who will point you in the right direction to find out more and why we would be confident of helping you find love.
There is never any obligation or compulsion to join, our aim is always to put you in an informed position, so that you can make your own mind up if personal matchmaking and Country Partners is for you.
The Matchmaking Process
If after your free consultancy chat, you do decide to move forward, then next step would be arranging your interview. This is done through our Client Registration Coordinators Vicky and Alison, we can interview you in your own home, at our office, at a mutually convenient venue of your choosing or often these days people choose to be interviewed on video by Zoom or Microsoft Teams. We offer a professional photoshoot in our small photography studio for those who come to our head office.
Every new member is carefully vetted so that we know they are 100% who they say they are, that they are also free from involvement in crime and are also solvent, with no bankruptcies or outstanding CCJ’s in the background,
The next step is the welcome call from your personal matchmaker after which the exciting part of your membership can begin, receiving your recommendations from our extensive database and meeting potential partners on dates. Then feeding back to your matchmaker on how it went and deciding if you’d like to meet that person again.
