Dating in Scotland – Fife
Fife is a historic county, council area and lieutenant area of Scotland and is situated the Firth of Tay and the Firth of Forth. The population of Fife is 374,000, the third largest in Scotland and the administrative centre is Glenrothes, having been Cupar until 1975. The other major towns are Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline.
Fife is often said to be the home of World Golf and boasts over 40 courses including the world-famous and iconic St Andrews course, in the university town of St Andrews, which is one of the worlds oldest universities also. Other towns within the Fife region are Rosyth, Cowdenbeath, Methil, Dalgety Bay, Levenshtein, Lochgelly, Kelly, Burntisland, Ballingry, Cardenden, Inverkeithing, Kennoway, Newport-on-Tay, Buckhaven, Anstruther, Tayport, Leuchars, Leslie, Kincardine and Kinghorn.
Away from the main conurbations we can see that Fife as a region is very rural and so Country Partners, Scotlands very own dating agency based in Glasgow, plays an important role in bringing people together and using a personal matchmaker is becoming an increasingly popular way of meeting high quality potential partners.
What We Do
Using a matchmaker is something that has become increasingly well established in recent years, particularly in Scotland, as more and more people have defected away from online dating and dating through smartphone apps on their phone, due to concerns about safety and also confidentiality.
We were initially established to cover just Scotland and Northern England, working from our two regional offices in Bath Street, Glasgow and at the Wetherby Business Centre in West Yorkshire, but due to our success and the strong demand for country dating opportunities, we have grown to provide coverage across the whole of the UK, on the back of sustained TV coverage for personal matchmaking through shows such as Married at First Sight, Love Island, First Dates, Naked Attraction etc
Your first enquiry to us will usually be handled by one of our friendly membership adviser team, who would be happy to talk you through how personal matchmaking works, what advantages (and disadvantages) it has, the type of members we attract and why we have a very high success rate.
This is done without any obligation or compulsion to move forward, in a friendly, pressure free way. Our aim is always to provide just enough information for you to decide whether or not working with a personal matchmaker is for you, so that you can decide yourself whether or not you would like to proceed with a membership.
The Matchmaking Process
If you do move forward and become a member, then Vicky and Alison, our Client Registration team, will take your through the initial steps. Which will involve taking you through our vetting procedures, arranging your interview, overseeing the building of your profile, choosing which photographs to use and then finally passing you through to our matchmaking team for the exciting and most rewarding part of your membership to begin – meeting carefully selected potential partners on dates and then providing feedback as to how it went.
