Ayrshire and Arran

We are a traditional & personal matchmaking agency available throughout Ayrshire and Arran.

Dating in Scotland – Ayrshire and Arran

Ayrshire is a historic county located in southwest Scotland located on the shores of the Firth of Clyde and the lieutenancy of Ayrshire and Arran covers the entirety of the county as well as the Isle of Arran, which was formerly part of the county of Buteshire. The principal towns are Ayr, Kilmarnock and Irvine. In the 17th century many people from Ayrshire emigrated to Ulster in what is now Northern Ireland.

Because of its rural nature, finding potential partners in Ayrshire is more difficult than on average and therefore the service we provide at Country Partners is a popular one within the locality, particularly since so many people have chosen to migrate away from online dating and the use of smartphone dating apps.

So, if you’re looking to meet a new partner in Ayrshire, then the traditional, face to face service, provided by Country Partners may well be a consideration, if you are looking for a safe, very personal service through a personal matchmaker and carefully vetted dates, with Scotland’s very own personal matchmaking company, based at our regional office in Glasgow.

What We Do

Country Partners interviews and carefully checks out every potential new joiner, to ensure that everyone on our database is 100% genuine, lives at the address provided, has not ever been involved in crime and is also solvent and not a bankrupt or someone with county court judgments outstanding.

Initially your contact will be with one of our friendly membership advisers, who handle all first-time enquiries and their main role is to talk through our service, how it works, our success rate and the advantages of working with an experienced matchmaker, rather than trying to go it alone on the internet or through an app on your smart phone.

There is never any obligation or pressure to proceed, our aim is simply to put you in an informed position, whereby you are able to make your own decision as to whether Country Partners might be a way forward for you.

The Matchmaking Process

If you feel our service at Country Partners is for you and you would like to become a member, this is usually achieved through one of our friendly team of membership advisers, who will guide you through the process by Zoom, Teams or via the telephone.

You will then be welcomed onboard by our Client Registration team of Vicky and Alison, who will arrange your profiling interview, photographs and take your through our verification procedures. The next step would then be to meet your matchmaker and to begin to build a rapport with that person, who would be likely to be working with you throughout your membership and will be the person behind your matches and your journey towards finding love.

It will be a key relationship, throughout the duration of your membership, with the aim of the matchmaker being to become ‘your friend in the dating business’ and your guide and mentor throughout your journey to find true love.
