Farmer Dating, Done Personally
Farming is a way of life, not a job you leave at the gate. The early starts, the seasons
that decide your diary, the land that has been in the family for generations: finding
someone who understands all of that, and wants to be part of it, is rarely easy.
Country Partners has been introducing farmers and farming singles to one another since
1983. We are an offline dating agency, which means no public profiles, no swiping and no
strangers. Every member is interviewed and verified, and every introduction is chosen by
a matchmaker who understands rural life.

Why Farmer Dating Is Different
Most dating advice assumes you have free evenings, a busy social life and people nearby. Farmers often have none of those. You might be miles from the nearest town, working seven days a week at lambing or harvest, and part of a community where everyone knows your business.
That is why so many farmers find mainstream dating frustrating. Meeting someone is hard; meeting someone who genuinely understands that you cannot simply move for love, or disappear for a weekend in calving season, is harder still.
Hard to Meet, Easy to Introduce
The good news is that farming singles have a great deal in common: shared values, a love of the land, and a practical, grounded outlook. When the right two people are put in touch, the conversation often comes easily. The difficult part is finding each other, and that is exactly where a specialist matchmaker helps.
An Offline Alternative to Farmer Dating Sites
Online farmer dating sites promise plenty of choice, but many of our members tell us the experience left them uneasy. Profiles on show to neighbours and customers. People who liked the idea of the countryside until the first wet February. No real way of knowing who is genuine.

Dating a Farmer: What It Really Means
Not everyone who joins Country Partners is a farmer. Many members are rural professionals, equestrians, or people who love an outdoors life and want to share it with someone rooted in the land. If you are thinking about dating a farmer, it helps to know what that life looks like.
- The farm comes first at certain times of year. Lambing, calving, silage and harvest can mean long spells of limited availability.
- Relocation is rarely possible. Many farms are family businesses tied to one place, so the question of where you would live together matters early on.
- Plans change with the weather. Flexibility and a sense of humour go a long way.
- It is a partnership in the truest sense. Farming partners often share the work, the worries and the rewards.
Our matchmakers talk all of this through at the start, so the people we introduce you to understand the realities from day one.

Farmer Dating FAQs
Is Country Partners a farmer dating site?
No. We are an offline dating agency. There is no website to browse and no public profiles. Our matchmakers personally select and arrange every introduction.
Do I have to be a farmer to join?
Not at all. Many members are farmers, but others are rural professionals or people who love countryside living and want a partner who shares it.
How do you keep my details private?
Your information is never published online. Details are only shared with another member when both of you have agreed to be put in touch, and every member is bound by confidentiality.
I can't leave the farm for long. Will that be a problem?
No. Your profiling interview can take place by video call, and your matchmaker plans introductions around your commitments, including the busy seasons.
Are the people I meet genuine?
Every member is interviewed and verified, with photographic ID, proof of address and checks for certain adverse financial or criminal records before anyone is introduced.
How much does it cost?
We offer membership options to suit most budgets. Your matchmaker will talk you through them at your free, confidential consultation, with no obligation to join.
What areas do you cover?
We introduce members across rural mainland Britain, from the South West to the Scottish Borders and beyond.
