Equestrian Dating, Done Personally
If your weekends start in the yard before sunrise and your holidays are planned around
shows, you already know that horses are not a hobby. They are a way of life, and the
right partner needs to understand that, or better still, share it.
Country Partners has been introducing countryside singles since 1983, and many of our
members ride, compete, breed or simply cannot imagine life without horses. We are an
offline dating agency: no public profiles, no swiping, no strangers. Every member is
interviewed and verified, and every introduction is chosen by a matchmaker who
understands rural life.

Why Equestrian Dating Matters
Ask any rider about their love life and you will often hear the same story. A partner who was keen at first, until they realised that mucking out happens twice a day whatever the weather, that the horse box costs more than the car, and that "a weekend away" means an event three counties over.
Horses shape your time, your money and where you live. That is why so many equestrians look specifically for someone who shares their world, rather than hoping a non-horsey partner will come round to it.
Shared Passion, Easier Beginnings
When two people already understand early starts, muddy boots and the bond with an animal, a great deal goes without saying. The first conversation starts in common ground. The challenge is simply finding each other, especially when your social life happens at the yard and everyone there already knows you.
An Offline Alternative to Equestrian Dating Sites
Online equestrian dating sites offer plenty of profiles, but many of our members found the experience unsatisfying. Photos with a borrowed horse. People who liked the idea of riding more than the reality. Profiles that anyone from the local hunt, pony club or livery yard could stumble across.

Dating a Horse Lover: What to Expect
Not every member who wants an equestrian partner rides themselves. Some simply love the countryside and admire the commitment horse people bring to everything they do. If you are thinking about dating someone with horses, it helps to know what that life involves.
- The horses come first, twice a day. Feeding, turnout and mucking out do not pause for dinner reservations.
- Weekends revolve around the calendar. Shows, events, hunting, hacks and lessons fill the diary, especially in the season.
- Location matters. Many equestrians live where their horses are kept, and moving means finding new grazing, stabling or livery.
- It is a commitment of heart and budget. Horse people are generous, loyal and devoted, and they want a partner who respects that.
Our matchmakers talk all of this through at the start, so the people we introduce you to understand the realities from day one.

Equestrian Dating FAQs
Is Country Partners an equestrian dating site?
No. We are an offline dating agency. There is no website to browse and no public profiles. Our matchmakers personally select and arrange every introduction.
Do I need to ride or own horses to join?
No. Many members are riders, owners or equestrian professionals, but others simply love the countryside and would like a partner who shares an equestrian life.
Can you introduce me to someone from my discipline?
Your matchmaker will take your riding interests into account, along with everything else that matters to you, such as location, values and the life you want together.
How do you keep my details private?
Your information is never published online. Details are only shared with another member when both of you have agreed to be put in touch, and every member is bound by confidentiality.
My horses take up most of my time. Will that be a problem?
Not at all. Your profiling interview can take place by video call, and introductions are arranged around your commitments, including the competition season.
Are the people I meet genuine?
Every member is interviewed and verified, with photographic ID, proof of address and checks for certain adverse financial or criminal records before anyone is introduced.
